SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES

The temple authorities have implemented several activities for the benefit of devotees interested in spiritual matters (ജിജ്ഞാസുക്കള്‍) like:

1. Weekly classes on specified days on various subjects like Upanishads, other vedantic scriptures, epics, puranas etc by venerable teachers like Gurusreshta Sri A.K.B. Nair, Aacharya Sri K.P. Krishnan kutty Kurup, Aacharya Sri. K.Venkiteswaran, Aacharya Sri.K.K Chitharanjithan etc.

2. Annual programme of one day workshop on spiritual matters (ഏകദിന ആദ്യാത്മിക അന്തര്യോഗം) in which eminent scholars from all over Kerala Speak on different subjects.

3. Spiritual discourses by various scholars and Bhajans by various groups during Mandala period Celebrations.

4. Every year in the month of February Srimad Chidanandapuri Swamikal of Kolathoor Advaithasramam, conduct 7 days’ lecture series based on various vedantic texts with sufficient time allotted each day for removal of doubts of the audience on various subjects. These lecture series attract big audience from far and near.

5. Collective Ayyappa Sahasra Namajapam on first Saturday of every Malayalam month, Lalitha Sahasra Namajapam on every Tuseday, Vishnu Sahasra Namajapam on every Ekadasi day, all under the auspices of Kshetra Mathrusangham.

6. Collective recital of complete Narayaneeyam on Narayaneeyam day every year.
